LCL International Ltd provides Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding for UK Shippers, and ancillary services including collection and delivery for Eastern European and Turkish haulage companies operating UK routes – 24 hours a day.

LCL is situated next to the Freight Clearance Centre, Western Docks, Dover.  All international freight drivers travelling through Dover or using Eurotunnel have the opportunity to call in to our offices; exchange documents, begin Customs Clearance procedures, make contact with their own offices, or request assistance with any matter.  

Non European hauliers need a reliable partner when operating in the UK and are pleased to find LCL International Ltd offer local storage and transport services, using smaller vehicles and regional warehousing, and are available and willing to resolve any difficulties encountered by drivers or trucks far from home.

LCL International Ltd assist with road transport reloads from the UK and provide UK Shippers RoRo options for obscure destinations, or destinations visited less frequently by standard international trailer services.  We have the benefit of multi-lingual staff and can help Shippers understand the local requirements of their customers and their authorities.  Operating since 1980, we have created our own network using a host of contracted third-parties across the country to arrange collection and distribution with short-term storage options when a TIR on-wheels service isn’t practical.  

In addition to cross-channel and short-sea traffic, we provide competitive rates for Air and Ocean freight; with regular export consolidations and handling of Deep Sea Containers.  LCL International Ltd has direct access to the HMRC computer ‘CHIEF’, with links to the Inventory systems at all major UK Air and Sea Ports.  With our network operations and ability to clear consignments through Customs anywhere in the UK– we provide a true national service as the beginning or end to international movements.

ADR Certified Drivers and Vehicles

ADR Certified Drivers and ADR Equipped Vehicles are not standard but, with a little notice – we can locate suitable combinations for Hazardous and Dangerous Goods for all advertised markets.

For those urgent jobs, we can provide dedicated vehicles to and from most countries accessible by road.

We can also offer immediate Air Freight and economical Ocean Freight solutions.

LCL International Ltd will usually arrange collections or deliveries on the same vehicle which carries out your international movement. However, we have at our disposal a host of local distribution networks to ensure goods awaiting collection do not encumber your operations unnecessarily – or, if your premises cannot facilitate larger vehicles, we will engage smaller vehicles from operations local to you.

Customs Clearance Services

LCL International Ltd offers a 24/7 Customs Clearance service for non-EU and Special Customs Regime consignments.

We have open links to the UK Customs Computer System and recent enhancements now mean we can release goods from Customs controls at any UK Port or Inland Clearance Terminal

Our experience can be called upon to prescribe mandatory-paperwork and other requirements, or calculate Duties, in advance, given the particular circumstances – to avoid unnecessary delays through Customs controls.

We have our own Deferment Account, to assist Importers who do not have their own account with HM Revenue and Customs, or have exceeded their monthly limit, for paying any Duty or Import VAT as necessary.

LCL International Ltd prepare and present all types of HMRC Export Declarations – from the basic NES for innocent T2 Status consignments, through to Ex Bond or IPR T1 Status goods; using our own Community Transit Guarantee.

We complete TIR Carnets on a special printer, and can arrange endorsement of ATRs and EUR.1s at Dover Port.

Traders sometimes incorrectly assume that the real worth of their consignments will be assured automatically by transporters. In reality, only limited liability is provided as a matter of course – and this is a legal requirement against the various conventions covering different modes of transport:

Forwarder’s Liability for traffic otherwise in-transit.

All Risk Marine Insurance Cargo Cover can be arranged for the full worth of any consignment, to include Duties as they are paid or transit costs as they are incurred and build up towards the intended destination.

Any mode of transport can be covered, however; Personal Effects and Second-Hand Commercial Goods are excluded.

About Us…

LCL International Ltd was formed in 1980, as a service to transporters using the Port of Dover.  We provided Customs Clearance and third-party ferry-crossings, and quickly realised Eastern European road hauliers needed reliable representation in the UK and assistance in finding re-loads.

‘LCL’ reflects the initials of the three founding members; it is just a coincidence that the popular shipping term ‘Less than a Container Load’ is known as ‘LCL’.  Consolidation traffic, combining smaller consignments to one shipment to spread the cost, for road transport is usually referred to as ‘Groupage’ and, for Airfreight as ‘Air Consols’.  

In the early 1990s, when the UK joined the Single Market and EU trade barriers were lowered, Customs Clearance requirements reduced – and some long established companies pulled out of Dover or closed altogether.  Eastern European hauliers began to experiment with their own services to and from the UK and LCL International Ltd, with its multi-lingual staff, found itself in demand.

Following the break up of Yugoslavia, and the Bosnian Civil War in 1992, we organised ever increasing amounts of commercial cargo and Humanitarian Aid to those areas and our Serbo-Croat speaking staff established a strong position for the market in both directions.  We set about contracting third-parties for warehousing and small vehicle collection and distribution across the country, to assist us in meeting the needs of our partners in the UK.

Since then, we have taken on Russian speaking staff and extended our outlook for road transport opportunities to include the former Warsaw-Pact and Russian Federation countries, and Turkey.

 

Although still operating a 24 hour office to deal personally with international freight drivers and provide Customs Clearance formalities in Dover, LCL International Ltd is now a broker and central point of contact for non-European hauliers seeking loads out of the United Kingdom and Shippers looking for transport options.

Regular clients shipping to and from Russia and Turkey need options for Airfreight and Ocean Freight.  We developed services for these markets specifically to ensure our clients could identify choices to meet their budgets, and now we offer rates and routes competitively for all modes of transport around the world.

Roba za uvoz u Veliku Britaniju, trebamo dobiti najavu da roba dolazi, ovo je najbolji način jer mi možemo da spremimo sve papire pre nego što šofer stigne u Doveru. Da bi ovo mogli uraditi treba nam sve kopije papira za uvoznu robu i isto nam treba ako ima kopje EUR1 ili ATR, na računu moramo imati uvoznikov EORI broj i moramo razgovarati sa uvoznikom u vezi plaćanje poreza/takse.  Čim saznamo kako će uvoznik da plati onda ćemo spremiti carinske papire.  Šofer kada stigne u našu kancelariju mora da preda sve originalne papire plus EUR1 ili ATR papire ako je dobio i dežuran će da pregleda papire sa papire koje smo primili i ako je sve uredu onda će predati šoferu carinske papire ako ne onda će popraviti carinske papire na kopije koje je šofer dobio.

Roba za izvoz iz Velike Britanije, trebamo dobiti najavu da roba dolazi, ovo je najbolji način jer mi možemo da spremimo sve papire pre nego što šofer stigne u Doveru. Da bi ovo mogli uraditi treba nam sve kopije papira za izvoznu robu i isto nam treba ako ima kopje EUR1 ili ATR, na računu moramo imati izvoznikov EORI broj, tarifni broj, ako nema tarifni broj onda moramo znati tačno šta je roba, vrednost robe i za koju zemlju ide.  Ako je EUR1 ili ATR ispunjen a nije overen onda možemo da overimo u Doveru, ali ako treba EUR1 ili ATR da se ispuni i da overimo onda nemožemo ispuniti bez pismo od izvoznika u kome nam daju autoritet da možemo ispuniti u njihovo ime.  Roba koja je već izašlo iz Velike Britanije i treba da se pošalje overen EUR1 ili ATR onda možemo da pošaljemo direktno preko kurirjera pa da sresti robu.

Za manju robu mi možemo da pokupimo ovu robu od različite skladište ili mesta preko kurirjera pa da donesemo do skladište u Doveru koje su otvorene 24 sati pa da se pretovori na vaš kamion ako je lakše za izvoznu robu.  Isto ako imate uvoznu robu i nemožete istovoriti onda mi možemo da istovorimo vašu robu na manja kamiona diretkno kod uvoznika preko kurirjera skim radimo.  Isto u skladištu koje je otvoreno 24 sati možemo pomoći u vezi robe koje treba da se pretovari na drugi kamion, roba je spakovano sve na pod i treba da se stavi jena na drugu, ako ima ADR robu na kamionu i brodovi ne dozvoljavaju da neke ADR putuju zajedno možemo da skinemo sa kamiona i pretovorimo na drugi kamion.

Компания LCL INTERNATIONAL  находится рядом с таможенным терминалом в Дувре(Великобритания)  и  оформляет таможенные документы как для импорта, так и  для экспорта грузов, круглосуточно- 7 дней в неделю.

Компания  осуществляет  таможенные процедуры для транспорта, который использует  не только порт Дувра , но и Евротоннель или другие порты Великобритании.

Чтобы ваши машины оформились без каких либо задержек, нам  нужно получить от вас необходимые документы до прихода вашего груза сюда. Вы можете выслать копии документов по е-мэйл или факсу. Для оформления процедуры растамаживания импорта, нам нужен EORI номер импортера, контакт грузополучателя, информация, как будет произведена оплата налогов и пошлин.

Если все эти вопросы решены заранее, ваша машина сразу будет растаможена и она без задержек покинет таможенный терминал.

При оформлению экспортных документов мы просим выслать документы предварительно, если это возможно. В противном случае, таможенные документы будут оформлены только после того, как ваш водитель приедет на таможенный терминал и представит документы в нашей компании. Документы должны содержать информацию  EORI грузоотправителя, таможенный код товара, стоимость, вес. Если не указан таможенный код товара, то в инвойсе должно быть указано описание товара.  По этим документам мы сможем формить экспортные документы. Также мы можем оформить сертификаты ATR и  EUR в случае, если грузоотправитель пришлет нам авторизацию для оформления этих сертификатов.

В дополнение, мы осуществляем сборку и доставку грузов  в Великобритании. У нас есть склад в Дувре, который может принять ваши товары или загрузить ваши машины  круглосуточно.
